Hidden Gems #679: Monroe's Heel by Lee Hwan Hee

Just like Huh Chan Mi, who was on here recently, Lee Hwan Hee would've made a great member of SNSD. They're both very talented.

I was very curious what the title of the song meant and apparently it's a reference to Marilyn Monroe. I much prefer her as an inspiration over Madonna.

The words "Monroe's heel" don't seem like they would sound good being repeated multiple times but they really do. The chorus is super catchy. I love the retro look with the red dress and hairstyle with the headband. And also the red heels! I wish we got to see more of the full outfit.

It was not easy to find her full discography even though it's only like 5 songs. Every list I found was missing at least one but I think I found them all. Tonight (technically a group song) and Back in Those Days aren't my favorite but they're both solid. Secret is so pretty and wholesome. Action is REALLY good. So is Monroe's Heel. I think I have to give a very slight edge to Action.
