On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Ice Chu by Gugudan Ogu Ogu
The sub-unit nobody asked for but we all needed. People didn't really care for this song when it was released but it ended up being one of my favorite Gugudan songs. It's so fun, catchy, and quirky!
So we all know about Gugudan's tragic fate. They only made a few more comebacks after this song and debuted a new sub-unit: Gugudan SeMiNa. They lost Hyeyeon from the group and tried continuing with eight members but then the group went on hiatus. After two years of inactivity, they disbanded on the last day of 2021. Hyeyeon is now promoting as an actress with her real name Jo Aram. Mina has had a relatively successful acting career, appearing in many dramas including the massive hit show, Hotel Del Luna.
