In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Shake It by SUS4
Sistar wasn't the only one in 2015 to release a song titled Shake It. In fact, SUS4 was first. This was such a good nugu bop. It's super catchy and for a low budget, at least the cinematography is good.
Usually groups like this don't last super long and SUS4 was no sadly no exception. They made a comeback as a new trio about one year later with only one original member remaining (Sanha). After that song they officially disbanded. Interestingly, Sanha and Hwilin (from the second lineup) and Hena (from this lineup) re-debuted in a trio called H2L. Sadly they only released one song that didn't even have a music video. Hena and Sanha re-debuted together for a third time in the group Oh My Jewel who got a little attention because one of the members was not Asian. They ALSO disbanded after only one song. If that wasn't crazy enough they debuted ONE MORE time in a group called The Singing Girls (aka Melody Pink). But that group has been notorious for constant lineup changes. Hena has had tons of different stagenames while Sanha I think kept it the same in all her groups. Hena goes by Sarang now and she just had a really nasty divorce. She accused him of domestic abuse and actually won her lawsuit after a stressful year. Poor thing has not had it easy at all, she's a mom too and being a single mother is no easy feat anywhere, especially Korea. No updates on the third member, Jimin.
