On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Venus (Dance With Me) by VAV
VAV is another boy group that certainly has a fandom, but the fandom isn't nearly as big as it should be. I've been following them since debut and tbh they had a pretty rough start. This was the first song by them I really liked and it has been my favorite song by them since. The vocals sound good and the song is fun!
After this comeback, VAV started really growing. I think within the span of a year they made like 5 comebacks, it was INSANE! Also with this comeback they solidified a new lineup and all these members are still in the group. Tbh their charting in Korea is pretty terrible, but they have a somewhat significant international fandom which is why they've toured in the US and Europe multiple times. They've tackled many concepts over the years, and they are known for being one of the first to do the "Latin" concept. Unfortunately this marks their 7th year since debut. Members are enlisting one by one and they still haven't had a hit song. So I think they might be disbanding soon.
