On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Gun by 9muses
9muses, a name we have heard before. The group everybody thinks should have been famous, but for some reason they never made it. They have so many cult classics among Kpop songs. I feel this one isn't talked about as much which is too bad because it is one of my favorite Kpop songs of all time. It was their 3rd song they came out with in 2013, their most active year ever.
Well after one more comeback with this lineup, 9muses lost 3 members and gained 2 new members. They promoted as 8 in 2015, then they lost 3 more members and one went on forever hiatus. The four remaining members debuted as a sub-unit but later promoted as the official lineup and then ultimately ended up disbanding in 2019. Sera Ryu is a pretty successful YouTuber now who reacts to most underrated Kpop groups on her channel. 3 of the members are now married. Hyuna is a mother now. Finally OT8 had a reunion on MTGT this year.
