Hidden Gems #325: Shaking Heart by C-Clown

On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Shaking Heart by C-Clown

C-Clown was one of those groups that many Kpop fans heard of, but not enough stanned. It's too bad because they were extremely talented. I miss boy groups with this sound. I love the melodic and somewhat sad chorus. The instrumental in the background is amazing. The rappers are really good in this group too; I feel I appreciate rap verses more when they aren't the focal point of the whole vibe. The little hat thing was cool too

C-Clown unfortunately disbanded in 2015. Rome now goes by the stagename of DPR Ian. He is the CEO of DPR and has found success as a music video director. He did Mino's Fiance, Bobby's Hol Up, and Taeyang's Wake Me Up for example. His latest solo was about a year ago. Jaeujun, the maknae, re-debuted in the trio Trei 4 years after the group's disbandment. He participated in Mix Nine and made it to the finale. Trei sadly disbanded but he has re-debuted with another former Trei member in the duo JT & Marcus.

All of my girls are into acting to some degree and I'm embarrassed to say I've watched literally none of it. A couple of their shows are at the top of my list, though. Maybe the Korean language intimidates me. I haven't even seen Squid Game for crying out loud

Anyway, I know this is about C-Clown. I will say this is at least in the top 5 BG songs you had on here. I love the style of this video and the move in the GIF is really cool. It reminds me of something but I'm not exactly sure what. I still don't really have any BG songs on my regular playlist, but you're making me take a hard look at a world of great songs I would've missed out on otherwise.
