In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Again by Honey Girls
Today's song sounds suspiciously similar to Every Night by EXID. There's not much information on this group. They never released a music video or promoted on music shows, so the only clips available are fancams from festivals and a few clips their youtube channel posted and the quality is terrible and the clips are super short.
Honey Girls did not make it. Members were dropping out one by one and they never officially made a comeback. Again is literally their only song. Most members disappeared from public light. Heeya actually has a significant following on instagram (81k follwers) and she is a racing model now. Amin is the only member still active in the industry. Poor girl has re-debuted 4 times since her official debut which was in Honey Girls. First she joined Cupid and only promoted with them for a couple months. Then she joined Fantastie which released a pre-release song and that's it. She joined the new lineup on HeyMiss who also never released any music. Finally she re-debuted in Hey Girls changing her stage name to Jein. She joined the group for their rebrand in 2021 and actually got to make a comeback with them. Hey Girls originally started as the dance team Black Queen then shifted towards singing when they promoted as Hey Girls. It's another group that has been a revolving door. If I'm not mistaken they had one OST that went a little viral. Anyways rumors are she recently left Hey Girls because she removed Hey Girls from their bio and Hey Girls removed her from the group pic. Poor thing, it's gotta be rough debuting in 5 different groups and only releasing two songs, only one has a music video.
