In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Round and Round by Heart Rabbit Girls
You can tell the company doesn't have much money for the budget for the music video and the mixing could have been better. I do think if they cleaned it up a little bit on the music production, it could have maybe gotten them some attention because it's a well written pop song. The hook in the chorus is addiction, each section is distinct and memorable.
Heart Rabbit Girls had a somewhat interesting future. After their debut lineup, there was a second generation of Heart Rabbit Girls where only one member remained, Bohye. Then soon after that, all the members left and they rebranded as a kids group. Like the maknae was born in 2009, and this all happened like 10 years. That's super young and too young tbh. The kid rebrand didn't work so they disbanded in 2016 officially. Bohye, the most dedicated members, re-debuted in Live High in 2016 and stuck with them until their disbandment in 2019. She currently does fitness and modeling, a big change from her cute concept days. When Heejung was a member, she said her dream was the be a choreographer: and it seems she accomplished her goal according to her YouTube channel. She seems to be a teacher now. Danbi decided to become an author. Shockingly they do have a member who really "made it." Jieun pursued acting after she left the team. She has been in hit drama after hit drama. Still active in the industry, she's done 2 Kdramas this year already. She's also got two movies coming out. She doesn't really mention being part of Heart Rabbit Girls, like it's not even on her wikipedia history lol. You would think there would be tons of people in the comments about her, but I don't think even her fans know about this project she was a part of. This was kinda the most interesting "what are they up to now" updates.
