In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Wa by Atomic Kiz (AKZ)
This is an old boy group song that randomly gets stuck in my head, particularly the wa part. After relsitening after so many years, I actually quite like the vocals on the members singing during the chorus. This song has a kinda moody sound that I'm kinda nostalgic for. A cool thing about them is they were very involved in creating everything. One member was a composer, one member was a choreographer, and some members played instruments for the songs they released.
Sadly AKZ didn't last long. Two members left the group before they unofficially disbanded. It's hard to find updates on the members nowadays. Two appeared on the singing show I Can See Your Voice, but I don't know how involved they are with music now. Yehoon is a father now with two children.
