In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is You've Changed by Shafla

This is such a beautiful ballad. Girl groups don't release ballads like this as comebacks like they used to. Shafla was a group of giving these women a second chance. All of them were around 30 years old when they debuted and they had all previously debuted before. The cinematography is actually very pretty in this video. One of my favorite ballads by a girl group in the 4th gen.

Unfortunately this was the last song Shafla released. Their sister group is Secret Number, and they were taking off more than Shafla ever could, so the company abandoned Shafla in favor of them. Hwayeon is now a solo artist. She recently competed on Miss Trot 3, I think she got eliminated last week. Two years ago Jisun (who is a former Girl's Day member) married Hoon of U-Kiss. It appears Yujin is active in China now.

I love that song too! Although it was kinda big hit at the time. I was thinking about maybe doing a forgotten hit series and this would be one of the first songs I'd do.
