In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Shake by Switch Berry
Switch Berry were a sub-unit of the 8-membered Switch at the time. Switch was a fancam group who never promoted on music shows, fust at various festivals. This is one of their more serious efforts but they're kinda camp tbh. Apparently one of the members not in this sub-unit was the CEO of the label.
After this sub-unit debut, all five members returned for the eight-membered comeback. Then Switch kinda gave up on musi and just performed at festivals. Members would drop out like flies and they kinda made a point about "switching" lineups because of this. For the girls here: Doyoo was also active as a DJ. After she left Switch, she did not leave the company but joined their sister group: Icia. After Icia disbanded, Doyoo and Jimin (from this group) re-debuted in Labelup who disbanded shortly after their debut. Doyoo got married last year and idk how many Switch members attended the wedding, but Jimin definitely was there. Saerom is a pilates instructor now. The CEO member got married last year and Saerom, Minji, and Doyoo all showed up. Minji, the tall one who sings first, if she were under the right label, I think she could have been huge. She has It girl potential and she's so gorgeous.
