In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Good Night by ChaTone
ChaTone is a veteran in the industry she debuted all the way back in 2010 as a member of VNT. She has changed her stagename multiple times since that group disbanded. She promoted under the names XOi, Chaewon (as a member of S2 7 years after her previous girl group debut), and Tina. She was also the main vocal for Sorea Band, which did covers of popular Kpop hits using traditional Korean instruments. I think this video is incorrectly rated. It's a very sexy dance with lots of butt shots but it is only 12+. This is a rare instance where Korea should have given the 19+ label but didn't. I still like the song, her confidence, and her vocals.
She hasn't released a comeback since this song. I'm sure she'll release some new music some time soon, maybe under a new stage name lol. She has reunited with some of her S2 members recently so it's nice to see a bond between a short-lived group. She's very talented and clearly very passionate about music. It really is a shame her career never took off.
