In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Can You Feel It by Pentagon
Definitely one of the most well known groups to appear on this series. Are they still underrated? YES! I also feel like people forgot about their releases before Shine, which are some of their best songs. I always really liked this song and thought the concept was super cool.
Pentagon has gone on to have an impressive career. They had a breakthrough hit with their viral song Shine. Shortly afterwards, it was revealed E'Dawn was dating HyunA, his groupmate in the project group Triple H with Pentagon member Hui. He was removed from the group and joined P-Nationith Hyuna. Both artists have since left P-Nation and broke up on amicable terms. The rest of Pentagon continued as a 9-membered group with Chinese member Yanan going in and out. The group competed on the show Road To Kingdom, but they lost to The Boyz. Hui was a contestant on Boys Planet, and he made it to the finale but did not debut in the team. Before that, he was also a contestant on a Trot Show where he debuted in the project group Super Five. Shortly afterwards Pentagon got their first win with the song Daisy and their previous comeback also got a music show win. There have been rumors that the full group will make a comeback soon. Kino made his solo debut about a year ago. Wooseok, debuted in a couple projects within Cube. He was in a duo with Kuanlin formerly of Wanna One. He also was in a Pentagon sub-unit with Kinu and Yuto. Members have been starting to enlist and/or complete their military service.
