In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Oppa Is Mine by Im Boreum aka Lily
Im Boreum, who promoted under the stagename Lily when this song was released, used to be in a Kpop trio. This was her debut as a trot singer. I actually think it's a super catchy song. The guy in this video was a member of the co-ed group F1RST and I'm pretty sure they were married/engaged when this video was filmed. I think they did split up since though.
It's really hard to find information about her with the generic stagenames and her content on YouTube all got deleted. I know she released at least one more song. She is a mom now, so that's exciting, but yeah I'm pretty sure she has a new man in her life.
