In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Salang Salang by Billion
Billion were a group with tons of potential. I seriously loved their debut so much. This song wasn't like a totally serious effort, but it was a cute song for the summer.
It seemed like Billion had unofficially disbanded after this song; they basically had no schedules for over a year. In 2016 they made a comeback and only lost one member. It was actually a really good song, but they didn't have a music video and didn't promote on music shows. Billion had schedules for another year and then quietly disbanded. Ray joined the girl group 4X who have also disbanded. She is now a mother. Songyi is currently active posting covers on YouTube, solo projects, and song-writing. Betty is also a mom now. Janet is a model. Kiryun, the member that left the team after Salang Salang, is also a mother. No updates on Seul-Gi. They do all get a long pretty good though, there have been lots of reunions since disbandment.
