In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Please Come Back by Vetty L ft. Seo Minyoung
There were lots of talented girl groups debuting in 2014. Vetty L had more of a vocal focus than your traditional girl group. The mixing is a little off, which is huge con for any group, but especially a vocal group. That being said, it's still a pretty song, you can see the potential there, and the video is nicely shot. This set was very popular in 2014 lol; almost every nugu filmed at least one video here. I like the male rapper here too, I'm usually neutral to these features but he does a nice job.
Vetty L made one comeback. Better song production, worse music video. Then the group quietly disbanded. The girls have reunited since their disbandment on numerous occasions. Anna re-debuted in Maywish and Seryeong joined the group Flashe. They actually both redebuted and promoted around the same time so they got both groups to take pictures together. Seryeong is the only member still active on social media and she got married last year.
