In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is The Little Prince by Gyrui X From The Airport
Gyuri is one of my all time biases. In addition to her beauty, she has a unique vocal color, and she's one of the funniest Kpop artists of all time. This solo project where she collaborated with From The Airport was such a good techno song. I love the build up for the chorus and I like the EDM elements without it being a full-blown EDM song.
A year after this comeback KARA officially disbanded. We hadn't seen much of Gyuri for awhile, she did a couple acting projects post-disbandment and that's it, but KARA made a comeback a couple years ago and it was such a grand return. She also was engaged to some rich billionaire but she broke up with him. From The Airport hasn't released music since 2017.
