In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Angel by Berry Good
This is another song that is famous among nugu girl group fans, mainly for the vocal performance. And with good reason, I feel like that final chorus is what Heaven sounds like. There was a meme that said they were passing around those runs like hot potato. One of my favorite Kpop songs of all time.
Berry Good had a pretty long career despite never making any money. After this comeback they gained member Juhyun and released another cult favorite Don't Believe. Then it was sadly kinda downhill from there. Daye was put on hiatus and never returned. Taeha, one of the final remaining original members left after her contract was over. They released a couple songs as a quartet and then disbanded after 7 years. Gowoon was the only member who stayed the whole time, but the other members (minus Juhyun) were added when they revamped for their first comeback. Seoyul (Yuna from AOA's sister) is pursuing a solo career as E.so. Gowoon and Taeha have also released some solo projects.
