In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Fly High by Wax ft. Bebop
Wax is a solo artist who was popular during the first gen, famous for her ballads. Bebop were a short-lived girl band, one of the members is a former Girl's Day member. This unlikely combo resulted in a really cool collaboration. It's got this goth sound that kinda reminds me of Evanescence. The video is super cool too.
Wax is still active as a solo artist with a moderate following. Her last comeback was about a year ago and she occasionally posts covers on her channel. Bebop disbanded silently in like 2015. Ayeon the drummer went solo and posts drum covers where she has gotten lots of attention for her visuals. Juwoo posts covers on instagram but isn't really active. Jiin, the Girl's Day member, is a trot singer now called Hyeri.
