In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is T.T Dance by HAM
Before we had the TT dance popularized by Twice, there was "T.T Dance" by Ham. This is an old but gold hidden gem. The verses have this hard rock song, but then the chorus is really sweet. Almost like they mashed two songs together, but hey it works. They had some very talented vocalists in this group and the chorus is so catchy. It has this very nostalgic sound that I really like.
Ham lasted a few years together. Right after debut Miu left the group to pursue acting, but never actually did that. The trio regularly promoted in Korea and Japan until they disbanded in 2012. Sujin re-debuted in BBde Girl as the main vocal, which is actually kinda unusual. Most of the time in Kpop, if they've stuck with their groups for few years, that's gonna be their only team. So to re-debut under an even more nugu label is almost unprecedented. Sadly that group disbanded after their first comeback. Sujin debuted solo in 2017 but hasn't released much music since then. Currently she is a vocal coach and sadly she wiped out a lot of her instagram and started a fresh new YouTube channel that does not have her old covers. Hyoni was an AfreecaTV BJ but it's hard to find updates on her. In 2021 the three members reunited and I'm pretty sure they still maintain a good relationship.
