Hellovenus were one of those groups that almost made it. I think the changes happened at the worst time possible and they never could totally recover. Rookie Hellovenus was actually super cute and this song is so catchy. Once again, I feel like even among fans this song isn't brought up too often.
This lineup released one more song together, then the changes happened. People forget that Hellovenus was another girl group Pledis screwed up because Yooara and Yoonjo were under Pledis, while the other members were under Fantagio. There was a split between the labels and those members were removed and replaced with Seoyoung and Yeoreum. It took years for the fandom to accept the new members and the concept change. After the success of Girl's Day and AOA, sexy concept was in for basically all middle tier groups. Hellovenus was one of them. They had songs that went kinda viral but not enough to get them a first win. Actually the lost by like 9 points one time, it was terrible. Hellovenus officially disbanded in 2019 after 7 years together, but they basically stopped promoting in 2017. Pretty much all the members are pursuing acting careers now. Nara has actually kinda made a name for herself in Korea, like she was in Itaewon Class. Lime announced last year she was getting married. Yoonjo, who left early on, actually found success when she competed on the Unit as a last chance in idol life. She ranked 4th place and got to debut with Uni.T. It was really sweet because the Hellovenus members all showed up to support her and were crying at her placement. Yoonjo is also getting married! And actually she stayed with Pledis for 10 years. Just last year, she joined a new company.
