This is one of my favorite debuts of all time. We don't really see any concepts like this in Kpop ever. It's totally fresh, energetic, and catchy. All parts of the song are really good too, it's not just a catchy chorus, it's got catchy verses. It's too bad it didn't instantly propel them into stardom because that's what this song deserved. They're so talented too. I feel like they're just the perfect Kpop group. One of the best rappers in the industry, one of the best main vocalists, a gorgeous visual, strong lead vocals, American member for the English-speaking fans, a variety Chinese star They were backed by IU's label, only released amazing music, multiple members went viral. Legitimately how did they not make it?
This lineup stayed together for a few songs. Their comebacks were less original and more "Kpop" sounding, but they're still really really good songs. Cheska left the team in 2014 and they promoted as a quintet doing sexy concepts until 2016 when they stopped promoting. They officially disbanded in 2018. Yezi was on Unpretty Rapstar 2 and gained lots of attention for her skills, which allowed her to start a solo career. After disbandment, she switched companies and continued her solo career with more of an emphasis on her vocals. Currently I believe she is a trainer and an independent artist. Jei got married a couple years ago. Linzy does musicals nowadays. Hyemi was on a show called Girl Spirit, which was a vocal contest among active girl group members at the time. She is now promoting as an indie artist called YEL. Cao Lu got a lot of attention on We Got Married when her husband was Jo Se Ho. This launched her to become very popular on variety shows for about a year. Then she stood behind China in the SEA controversy and her career kinda tanked after that. Cheska even had her own solo career, but she announced her retirement from the industry and now is a streamer.
