In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Love Love Love by Afterschool
Afterschool were not underrated while they were active, they were known as the concept queens. But I think this song flew under a lot of people's radars, and new fans especially haven't heard it before. Its such a jolly song perfect for this season.
This was probably the most famous lineup of Afterschool. They had Orange Caramel, UEE, Kahi, Jung-A, and Juyeon (the only member to stay the whole time in the group). They were the first group to introduce the "graduation" system. Really it was an excuse to make people less upset about lineup changes. To this day I haven't seen a graduation system used effectively. Kahi, their leader, was the first to depart of this lineup. Then Jung-A left a few years later. The rest stayed "active" with the group until their unofficial disbandment. Nana and UEE have made a name for themselves in the acting world. Raina has released a couple solo hits. Lizzy was popular on varieties. Kahi became a mom and has been in the mentor role on several survival shows. Jung-A also got married and I'm pretty sure she's a mom too. Lots of famous actresses here and some moderately successful soloists.
