In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Oh Ya Ya Ya by Lunarsolar
Lunarsolar have a very classic Kpop girl group sound which is not too common for girl groups of the 4th gen. It sounds more like a girl group from the 3rd gen. Also they're in that one set where lots of girl groups in 2014 filmed their music videos, maybe that's why I feel that way more than anything lol. They were pretty and talented what's not to love. Plus I feel like we don't see many small sized girl groups nowadays. It's refreshing to just have a four membered group, I think that's actually the perfect number for a Kpop group.
Lunarsolar made one more comeback which rhymed with this song (Da Da Da). Then they somewhat unexpectedly announced one more song for their disbandment. Last year, after disbandment Taeryeong debuted solo. Poor girl has been training for 8 years, hopefully she'll find success as a solo artist and she's been under like 5 different companies. Jian also debuted as a soloist this year. She's also bounced from company to company over the years. The other two aren't really up to much.
