In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Love is A Sudden by Mixx
Since we did Momoland yesterday, I wanted to feature this group because one of the members competed on Finding Momoland. She's the one with the dark haired bob and I think she actually would have fit in with Momoland pretty well (kinda looks like Ahin). Regarding the music, Mixx just have a chill vibe that set them apart from other girl groups. I said that about their debut and they kept that sound for this comeback. Also the video is so bright and visually appealing. Love those videos from 2015/2016.
Sadly this was Mixx's first and only comeback. One interesting thing about the group is a majority of the members were Chinese. When they debuted 3 of 4 were Chinese with one Korean member (then they added the Momoland girl). They debuted around the time tensions between Korea and China were high with THAAD. Due to that the group disbanded probably earlier than should have. Sad how politics can affect a group. Mia was going to re-debut in Ho1iday but left pre-debut. She is now active on YouTube. Heeyu, the Momoland girl, is also a vlogger on YouTube. Hanna is now a model.
