In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Stay by Pungdeng-e (PDE)
This group was another Crayon Pop-like group that had more humorous concepts. This was one of their more "serious" efforts and I actually like the melody of the chorus. It gets stuck in my head every now and again. The members all speak in different Korean dialects too which is interesting.
Pungdeng-e made one more comeback after this song and then they officially disbanded. They had a good run though; they survived 7 years together and didn't ever have a lineup change. And they had not one, but two songs go lowkey viral. Their song Cotton Candy from like 2014 went decently viral last year because of a streamer. The members do still keep in contact with each other despite going their separate ways. None of them are totally up to much nowadays
