    Crayon Pop was a South Korean group that had five members and debuted in 2012 under Chrome Entertainment. Geummi, Ellin, Choa, Way and Soyul were the founding members until Soyul left the group in May 2017 to focus on her family.


    Crayon Pop debuted on July 19, 2012 with their debut stage of "Saturday Night".


    In 2013, their new single "Bar Bar Bar" went viral and earned them a nomination for "Best new female artist" at the MAMA awards, in addition to numerous chart successes. Also other award wins such as Hot Trend Award at Melon Music Awards, Artist of the Year at KBS Song Festival, New Rising Star at Golden Disk Awards and many more was Crayon Pop able to win thanks to the hit single.


    In May 2017, it was confirmed that the members would have their solo activities managed by other companies and would only be signed to Chrome Entertainment as Crayon Pop. After it was announced on September 26 that Geummi had signed with Climix Entertainment, Chrome Entertainment confirmed that Crayon Pop had not disbanded and that only the group's activities would be managed by the company.
