I'm very very excited but at the same, I can't imagine it. I also have a very bad feeling that some members are going to be more successful than others. I love it but after some thought, I'm a little but skeptical about it for multiple reasons. I've also decided I don't want to get my hopes up super high because we all know how JYP is.
I've just read how all of this might have been a mistranslation... lol...

I mean, I don't participate in negging other members, so, I won't. Not my thing, I truly like all the members. However, I think Jihyo is one of the least popular members in South Korea and probably in Japan too. Hence, I consider how that will affect her solo activities. But she is a go-getter, so, we shall see. Edit: But she is a member of the biggest (or one of the three biggest) GG in South Korea and thus is one of the most well-known people in SK entertainment. So, THEY ALL WILL BE FINE, lol.
It's true that the less popular members will finally get to shine but, don't you think JYPE will first push the most popular ones? If they do that, then we'll be able to tell that they're doing all of this in consideration of the contracts renewal.. which would be sad

Will solo activities begin while still a group? I am excited but trepidatious. Thinking of the solo careers of former JYP GG members. Sunmi flourished, Yubin and HA:TFELT, not so much (personally, love, love, love "Lady" and 1719). Suzy, obvs, Fei, not so much (and her solo single was fireee, edit: but I think she got involved in a controversy around the time of its release).
Of course, they just reported that they will start in the fourth quarter of 2021. We already had pictorials, magazines, covers.. So I think we can expect solo songs, acting or brand activities this time around.
So excited!!!!!!!!
Aren't you afraid of intern fights ? I personally am especially when people will realize they won't get their bias activities right after the others have ...
