I. Introduction:
AB6IX (에이비식스; known pre-debut as BRANDNEWBOYS) is a four-member boy group under Brand New Music. Originally as five, they officially debuted on May 22, 2019 with their first EP B:Complete.
II. History:
2017-2018: Pre-debut
- In April 2017, Youngmin, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi participated in *Produce 101 Season 2*.
- Woojin and Daehwi debuted in Wanna One, promoting from August 7, 2017, to December 31, 2018.
- Youngmin and Donghyun formed the duo MXM in September 2017.
2019: Debut with *B:Complete*, *6ixense*
- AB6IX, previously known as BRANDNEWBOYS, debuted on May 22, 2019, with their first EP, *B:Complete*.

III. Trivia/Facts:
The name AB6IX stands for "ABSOLUTE SIX," symbolizing perfection when the five members and their fandom are together. It also abbreviates "ABOVE BRANDNEW SIX," reflecting the group's goal of opening new horizons for Brand New Music.
Youngmin, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi participated in Produce 101 Season 2. Woojin and Daehwi placed 6th and 3rd, debuting in Wanna One, while Youngmin and Donghyun placed 15th and 28th, respectively. Additionally, Youngmin and Donghyun are part of the collaboration project group YDPP with Starship Entertainment and Brand New Music.
