I. Introduction
Jin is a member of BTS. He debuted with the group on June 13, 2013.
II. Career
During junior high school, Jin was scouted by SM Entertainment on the street, but he rejected it believing the offer to be a scam.
He attended Konkuk University and graduated with a degree in art and acting on February 22, 2017. Jin initially studied there to become an actor. He is currently studying in graduate school at Hanyang Cyber University to study in other areas that are not music.
Jin was scouted by Big Hit Entertainment on the street for his looks. He auditioned for them as an actor, but he ended up becoming an idol trainee with them.
He made his idol debut with BTS on June 13, 2013 with their single album 2 Cool 4 Skool.
Jin released his first co-produced track Awake which is in BTS's album Wings.
Alongside the other BTS members, he was appointed Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generation and Culture by South Korea's President Moon Jae-in to "lead the global agenda for future generations, such as sustainable growth" and "expand South Korea's diplomatic efforts and global standing".
In terms of solo activities outside of BTS, he collaborated with V on "It's Definitely You" for the Hwaran: The Poet Warrior Youth OST. He and Jungkook also sang an alternate verision of "So Far Away" originally from Suga's mistape Agust D. He also co-hosted for episodes of the music award shows such as Music Bank and Inkigayo.
Jin revealed his song Tonight for 2019 BTS Festa on December 3, 2020. He composed the song with Big Hit Entertainment record producers Rabbit and Hiss Noise. Jin and RM wrote the lyrics.
His second solo song Abyss was released on December 3, 2020 for his 28th birthday. He composed it with RM and record producers BUMZU and Pdogg.
His most recent solo song was Yours for the Jirisan OST. Which was released on November 7, 2021.

- A plastic surgeon analyzed 269 Asian male faces, came to the result that Jin had the "golden ratio" of 1:1.618. Which is the distance between the ears and the distance between the hairline and the chin
