NewKidd

I. Introduction

NewKidd (뉴키드) is a Korean boy group that consists of seven members: Jinkwon, Ji-Hansol, Choi Ji-ann, Yunmin, Hwi, Woochul and Kang Seung-chan. The group debuted on April 25,2019 with their first release, Newkidd. The group also had two pre-debut sub-units, NewKidd - Lemme Spoil U and Newkidd02.

III. Career

On November 28, 2017, J-FLO Entertainment announced it would be debuting a new boy group Newkidd. The name stands for "New generation key of dream." The group released a pre-debut single "Will You Be Ma" as a sub-unit called Newkidd - Lemme Spoil You featuring Hansol, Yunmin, Jinkwon and Woochul.

Two members were added, Hwi and Choi Jiann, and a second sub-unit, Newkidd02, released a single album Boy Boy Boy on July 25, 2018.

A final member, Kang Seungchan was added and announced on April 18 2019.

Newkidd officially debuted on April 25, 2019 with their first single album, Newkidd. The release featured 3 songs and reached #14 on the Gaon Album Charts.

Newkidd released a second single album, Come, with the lead single "Come" November 28, 2019. The album reached #24 on the Gaon Album Chart.

Hansol announced his enlistment for mandatory military service in February 2021, however, the group announced it would continue with the remaining members.
