In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Amazing by Myteen
Myteen were a pretty good late 3rd gen group. The chorus is catchy and I like how it's not super hardcore like most boy groups. It's just a fun song. I also like how it doesn't really on a beatdrop during the chorus unlike lots of boy groups.
Myteen were unfortunately mismanaged, they only made one comeback as a group. Two of the members competed on Produce X 101. They actually gained lots of attention with Yuvin making it to the finale. Wouldn't have mattered though because X1 was rigged dramatically. Yuvin and Kooheon, the Produce boys, debuted in a unit called B.O.Y. Around this time Myteen officially disbanded. Like the company made it clear they were dropping the rest of the boys for these two members. But then B.O.Y officially disbanded after only a year of promotions. They also lost member Taevin to pursue an acting career before they officially disbanded. He's been in a couple Kdramas like The Penthouse. Eunsu joined a survival show called The Idol Band: Boy's Battle.
