Back when all the girl groups were doing the sexy concept. The music during this era is just >>>. This sub-unit is kinda random though, why do a whole new unit when you're only missing one member? They said she was preparing for her solo debut while they did this unit, but that debut never even happened. Should have just done a Spica comeback without her OR just waited for her. Debuting units is always kinda risky because they never do as well as the main act, and Spica was still in the process of getting their name out there, so of course it didn't do well, which is a shame because it's such a good song. Their label made lots of questionable decisions.
Spica.S never made another comeback. Spica made one final comeback after a two year hiatus in 2016. Then they sadly disbanded after 5 years together. Jiwon competed on The Unit and was one of the contestants who gained lots of attention. She did debut in Uni.T but they sadly flopped. Bohyung competed on a show called Girls Spirits, where active girls groups at the time performed stages to determine who was the best vocalist. Well, Bohyung won! She then debuted in a duo with Boa called Keembo who were super active a few years ago but have been kinda quiet lately. mainly because Bohyung is on Broadway! She is doing the Kpop music which has been nominated for 3 Tony Awards!! Boa is a vocal trainer and provides background vocals for many Kpop groups. She also did finally have that solo debut this year, and has been doing OSTs as well. Narae owns a cafe while drawing and raising two puppies. Living the simple, peaceful life. Sihyun went into retail. I just feel like Spica was always on the brink of almost making it and they certainly earned their reputation as the most vocally talented group. With a few smarter decisions and maybe a few more songs, they probably could have made. At least they seem to all be doing okay right now, especially Bohyung.
