One of the most controversial debuts of all time and yet many people haven't heard it. In 2014 the sexy concept was in. Girl's Day, AOA, and Sistar were all dominating the charts and groups who previously did sweet concepts like Fiestar, Stellar, and Hellovenus drmatically switched to sexy concepts. 4L's label wanted to get in on the action with a sexy concept about a lesbian relationship. Even though the MV went too far with some of the choreography, the song is REALLY good. I often just listen to it without the video. The male gaze is prevalent.
It would have been nice to see 4L do a tamer concept for a comeback. 3 members were previously in a group called MOA. The fourth member left shortly after debut to pursue a solo career which consists of one single so far. She also talked about how they were pressured into the sexy concept by their label. The 3 MOA members were going to make a comeback but it ultimately got called. Two of them (J.Na and Jayoung) formed a duo which has also disbanded called J.Young. Jayoung is now a mother. Chany, the third MOA member, re-debuted in a fancam group called Ureka.
