On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Butt by I-Ren
Its a weird title for a song, but it's a super good song. I feel like they had the total package for a girl group, but had a broke pervy company. The vocalists are all really good, especially the blond with the tattoo. She has such a rich tone. She was actually considered to join the debut lineup of Rania (back in 2011). I love the key change at the end with the adlibs. It's funny because most of their "fans" are here for the video, but I turn it off and listen to the song.
Shortly after debut they all left (except the rapper) and then they unofficially disbanded after that.
The member Jin (blonde with long hair who didn't get any lines) re-debuted in the group Six Bomb. She stayed with that group until their disbandment. Her singing voice is BEAUTIFUL in lots of Six Bomb's songs, so it's crazy she didn't get ANY lines in this song. She's also a vocal trainer and professional bowler. She also still hangs out with the former members of Six Bomb. The other members kinda disappeared off the face of the earth.
