In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Moonlight by Neon Punch
This was a good debut from a group with a limited budget. I actually really like the name Neon Punch, I think it sounds cool. Their outfits are really fashionable and of course the song is catchy. "All I need you, I need you" has been in my head since it got released.
Neon Punch are under a lame label. Shortly after their debut they "pranked" them into saying they would disband the team. Nugu companies can't joke about stuff like that. Before they made their first comeback, Terry (my bias) left the group and got replaced with Dohee. Then the team officially disbanded. 3 of the members redebuted in a trio under the same company called XUM. Tbh I would have kept the Neon Punch name even after losing those two girls; nugu company have gone through more dramatic lineup changes and still kept the name. Xum disbanded right after their debut. Terry has her own clothing brand. Dayeon is a vlogger on YouTube.
