In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Vampire by NPI
I mean this video isn't even really a music video, so you can tell what budget they were operating on. That being said I think some of the members have powerful vocals. The part at the very beginning reminds me of like pop songs/euro pop songs from the early 2010s. If they had a budget, I can imagine a boxed set with lots of techno visuals. Definitely has a throwback sound, even for 2015.
This was the "debut" or "pre-debut" of NPI, not really sure. Either way they never released music again. Their label also had a group called N-Bulance that never officially debuted, but their 2nd girl group, H.U.B did debut and had a little bit of a career. Jonathan re-debuted two more times. He was in the group Ateen and the group Elvin Crew. He has since given up on Kpop and is an influencer. Rown was on season 2 of Produce 101 ranking 89th and re-debuted with Baikal. That group has disbanded as well. Eunsu re-debuted in the group Myteen who have also disbanded. Lots of dead ends for these guys which is too bad.
