Monika, the woman in my profile pic, is obviously one of my ultimate biases. Half-German, half-Korean makes her a unique beauty and her vocal skills are incredible. I actually have this album signed. This is one of her most "poppy" sounds, she can do it all and she likes experimenting with different genres. Also despite the low budget, some of the shots in the hotel are nice. I wish they did more of the video in that location
Monika is still active as a solo artist, like I said she experiments a lot. Her debut was jazzy, then she did a ballad, then this summery sound, then a chill vibe. Lately she's been doing a lot of indie music. She rebranded herself a Nika I think because Monika from Street Fighter Woman was showing up in search engines before she did. She posted on instagram that new music is coming out in a week.
