In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Pika-Burnjuck
GP Basic started out as a child group where like the average age was like 13.5 years old. This was their first comeback where they were "grown" or at least the normal age of beginning groups. I think it showed their incredible growth and how strong and confident they had become. The dance break is super cool and the chorus is addicting.
Sadly this was GP Basic's last comeback. Shortly afterwards they did promos without Janey and Trinity, two of their most popular members. Then those members officially left the group and they were left as a trio. It seemed like they were preparing for a comeback but plans fell through. Janey competed on The Unit but hasn't been active since. Actually none of the members are active in the industry anymore. GP Basic's legacy was the members were too young to be performing, so broadcasting shows had to make an age limit.
