In this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Don't Let Go by Bella
This is an EXTREMELY vocally talented group. They did a cover of En Vogue's song, but they did it really well. I don't think I've ever heard a Kpop girl group sound like them.
Bella released one more song together before disbanding. It's also pretty good but more of a dance track that was a popular sound around that time and maybe not the most vocally appropriate song for a group like this. In 2013, they had a lineup change losing one of the members and gaining Haena and Dia of Kiss&Cry. Sadly, Haena and Dia never got to release any music with the group, but they did debut with Bohye (one of the original members of Bella) in Kiss&Cry after Bella disbanded. Kiss&Cry also never got to make it big which is such a travesty. Bohye re-debuted a third time in the girl group Destiny. Lucy, one of the original members of Bella, is pursuing a career as a vocal coach. She's worked with pretty notable people like Fatou and Leia of Black Swan, members of TAN and WEi, Rui of HUB, Woolim of Playback, and soloist Hong Juhyun ( StelloMomoDay the girl who sang Flower). She's cute because she's always really supportive of her current/former students. She also posts covers on YouTube but hasn't done anything in awhile.
