On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is I Think I'm In Love by Juniel
Juniel was actually pretty popular back in the day in Korea. She was under FNC who had CN Blue, FT Island, and AOA at the time so they were solidly mid-tier. Unfortunately though her charting got worse and worse rather than better and better. This song was kinda in the middle of her career under FNC. It's the type of song you fall in love with after one listen and her voice is so sweet.
Juniel left FNC in 2016 after her contract came to an end. She then signed with C9 with a completely new image and sound. Lots of tattoos and more indie. She debuted in a duo called Poetic Narrator in 2020 under her real name Seoah. She left C9 at the end of 2021. She is now an independent artist and her most recent work is singing OSTs for dramas. Not a huge household name, but she seems happy with what she's doing and she's busy enough.
