On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Blooming Day by Bloomy
They were under the same label as the group from yesterday. They may not have managed well or had much of a budget, but they had some talented trainees. Bloomy didn't reinvent the wheel with this song, but it's a pleasant happy cute concept. A sound we don't see very often in Kpop nowadays.
Sadly, like A6P, Bloomy disbanded approximately a year after debut without ever making a comeback. Two members (Jiyun and Geonyoung) re-debuted in a project group called E.Ruda. Geonyoung has the stage name E.Da but hasn't done solo stuff. Jiyun now goes by the stage name Daru and has released a couple songs. Yeonji competed on Idol School and placed 38th. The members still regularly meet up, even years after disbandment so that's nice to see.
