On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Pinky Promise by Busters
Busters is a group that has made headlines before. During ISAC some fans pretended to pose as their fans so they could sit with the other group's fandom. Also, member Chaeyeon was slapped by a man behind the scenes of a kids show. Sadly, the group has never gotten the attention they deserved. This is one of my favorite songs by them. My favorite part is the "tell me tell me just be honest, if you love me pinky promise"
Busters have sadly had very inconsistent lineups which is probably another reason for their lack of success. They are also SUPER young and it makes me uncomfortable that once they reach legal age, they are axed from the group and replaced by a much younger person. Busters made one comeback after this song in 2020 with an almost completely new lineup and zero original members remain. Yeseo, as many of you probably know, competed on Girls Planet 999 and actually made the final lineup to debut in Kep1er. Did you know another member experienced success in a survival show? Hyungseo competed on My Teenage girl and got 3 place and will debut with that group.
