I. Introduction
Chaeyeon is a South Korean singer and actress under MBK Entertainment.
She is a member of the girl group DIA and its sub-unit BCHCS.
She is also a former member of the project group I.O.I.
II. Career
On September 14, 2015, she debuted as a member of the girl group DIA with the release of their first studio album Do It Amazing.
In 2016, she became a contestant on Mnet's new survival reality show Produce 101 alongside fellow member Huihyeon.
She finished the survival in 7th place, thus becoming a member of the project girl group I.O.I.
On May 4, 2016, the group debuted with the mini album Chrysalis and its title track Dream Girls.
On December 29, 2016, she debuted in DIA's first sub-unit, BCHCS.
