I've wanted to do an episode with 5tion for awhile now. They were one of my favorite underrated groups when I first started listening to boy groups. This song gives me Big Bang vibes. Basically a Big Bang ballad without the budget. The members are all very old in this group and it's kinda refreshing to see actual men.
This was not the original lineup of 5tion and only one original member remained with the group. This group debuted in 2001!! So the group has been alive for twenty years! This lineup though released lots of music together for about 5 years. Then they had a major revamp where everyone except the original member Ilkwon(he debuted with them in 5tion, promoted with them 2001-2006, left the group for 6 years, and returned to the group in 2012 and has stayed with them since!). They are currently a quintet again and one of the new members is E.co formerly of JJCC. The former members (Marine, Noa, and Len) from this lineup are all in a new group called FL1X. The last 5tion comeback was in 2020 but they are still active and promote in Japan. FL1X debuted about 8 months ago.
