This girl had TONS of potential. She was actually a popular trainee because she competed on Kpop Star 6 and got 2nd place. She's also under Urban Works so she's a trainee with Minju. All the makings of a superstar and on top of that, a strong debut! She's super video, has strong vocals, song is catchy, and she's got good charisma and dancing skills. Also she's 100% Filipino which is super cool! What went wrong?
Sadly, Kriesha Chu disappeared off the face of the earth. Her last music video was from 2019 and the last song she released was in 2020. Barely posts on social media now, hasn't posted any content on youtube in over 2 years, and hasn't released music in a hot minute. She had so much potential. I feel like in an alternate universe, Urban works debuted Minju, Kriesha Chu, and a few other girls in a girl group and they would have been hugely successful. Alas not this timeline. Instead we got Minju shipped off to Produce 48 and Kriesha debuted solo only for them to drop her quickly. Sad
