On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Molae Molae by I.B.I
Right as Produce was rising in popularity, I.B.I formed. This group featured popular contestants from the first season who just barely didn't make the top 10. They do the cute concept well, to be honest I liked it even better than IOI's debut. They're all obviously talented and easily worthy of making the final lineup.
Sadly Molae Molae is the only song the released. If they were as active as JBJ, they probably could have reached decent popularity. Sadly all these girls have been very unlucky with their careers. Han Hyeri never got to officially debut, she just joined a project group for a Kdrama. Chaekyung re-debuted in C.I.V.A and April. CIVA was another project group but April was permanent. We all know about April's scandal and how they recently disbanded. Haein auditioned for Idol School, literally ranked first place, but was rigged out. Suhyun redebuted as a solo artist with the stagename Luri. She hasn't released music since her debut in 2019. The only member still active in the industry is Sohee. She also was a member of C.I.V.A. She then debuted solo. Finally she was added to the girl group Nature, who made their comeback in January this year.
