3. The groups that got me into K-pop initially were 2ne1 and f(x). I randomly came across I am the best and electric shock one day on YouTube…. Fell hard! Although I then kind of forgot about K-pop for a while…bts got me back into it
4. My ultimate bias is Kim Namjoon!
My other biases are Jisoo, Jimin, Bora(Cherry Bullet), Miyeon, Taeyeon and now Hanni from NewJeans!

3. What got you into K-pop. i think the very first time i heard a kpop song was like years ago and it was nu abo by f(x). it was apart of an anime compilation, but it didn’t get me into kpop. skip a few years later and i stumble across the all holy bts. and boom, here i am.

1) Hello, I’m YouChanDoThis, but you can call me YouChan for short if you’d like. I’m a very girly girl, who likes stuff like rainbows, unicorns, glitter, dresses, the color pink and so on. You get the picture. I’d love to get to know you better and I promise I don’t bite.
2) In order from my favorite groups to the groups I casually stan (if that even makes sense):
Twice
I casually listen to dozens upon dozens of groups though and might stan more groups in the future. I’m always willing to listen to you discuss groups you love, even if I don’t stan them, and you’re more than welcome to give me song suggestions from your faves if you’d like.
3) BLACKPINK was the first group I ever stanned. I heard Kill This Live on the radio one day and the rest is history. Of course my journey with K-Pop is quite long and that’s not the whole story, but in case you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a huge essay writer and don’t want to bore you with all of the minor details.
4) In no particular order: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Felix, I.N, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, Lisa, Sana, Lara and Miso. Bang Chan is my ultimate bias though. That being said, I do love all of them a ton.

I'm the101 - I'm one of the leaders of the Neo City Guild, which is a guild for people who love NCT!
We support all the units and most of us also support other groups, so we love to talk about music. (I'm an erizen - I love EXO, one of our other leaders is a Stayzen, and the other two like many groups - multizens..) I joined AKP in 2021 after taking a kpop break (I still listened to the music and went to concerts but wasn't really a part of a community), then lurking for a bit. I love music - and talking about it - and concerts.
And I will always write an essay in my posts.

EXO, NCT (all units), Purple Kiss
I had a friend who was really into Shinee, so I sort of knew about kpop, but I really got hooked by EXO's Overdose. I've been an EXO-L ever since and even said I wouldn't stan another group, then NCT got me with "Boss".

)I'm a casual fan for some other ggs too, but mostly the general stuff. Personally, I think stanning two groups is enough for me.
Girl's Day's Something (Dance ver.) when a cousin showed it to me. I thought the song was good but wasn't further interested. But since I'm close to another cousin who loves kpop the music took over me and later became a GG stan xD.
4. Who are your K-pop biases?
I'm OT6 & OT7 for both groups. TBH, the gap between "favorites" isn't huge. I truly love all members of each group, which is why I stan them. But if I actually had to choose, musically Suga and Eunji. Generally it's Bomi and Hobi.

I was listening to songs on youtube in 2006 and i randomly came across Because i'm a girl by Kiss while searching for something else. I thought the language sounded nice and searched for others korean songs then end up spending the day listening to kpop.

Hello I'm Ves, your tech admin and senior overlord of badges and guilds (lol). People call me Ves, Vesti and naeves and apparently this is my icon: 🦺 I was a lurker for a long time, finally joined in 2019 and became staff during the revamp.
2. Who are your current bias groups?
It's a somewhat complicated story. I had a roomate who was in love win Won Bin. She loved Kdrama and kpop. I discovered Yoon Mirae through her and realized she was mixed like me. I never stanned a group until BTS though. I was just more of a casual listener before.

OT7 ARMY, but I have a soft spot for Jimin as we are alike in personality. He loves to laugh and make others laugh too and so do I.

My #1 ult of ults is NCT. I also ult GOT7 and Astro. I'm a huge fan of a lot of groups including Seventeen, Monsta X, Stray Kids, aespa, Billlie, Twice, Red Velvet, Everglow, and tons more. I'm a casual fan of tons of groups as well. I just enjoy the genre as a whole for the most part.
My first exposure to k-pop was way back in 2005ish and I was very pretentious and only listened to "real music" so I hated it. A few years later I got introduced to Rain and Brown Eyed Girls and was sort of into some songs, but never really jumped into kpop. In 2019 I saw BTS on SNL and decided to check out more stuff and now here I am.

I'm hardly new here, I've been kicking around the traps for some 6 years now. I'm from Australia and just turned 54. (Yes, a veteran here in more ways than one).
My bias groups are as most people know are BTS and Aespa.
My daughter was the one who got me into K pop in 2011 quite by accident, she was only 9 then but has just turned 20. She isn't a fan much anymore though.
