On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Why Are You Calling by C.I.V.A
When the parody group ended up having one of the strongest debuts that year. This group has members from a popular variety show, The God of Music 2. I've heard it is very hilarious and chaotic. They would joke about how I.O.I were flops and they were much more popular than SNSD. It's also funny because two of the members almost debuted in I.O.I because they made the finale of Produce 101. The name CIVA sounds like a Korean cuss word and it rhymes with the original artists who did this song DIVA. So this song is a remake, but a remake done well.
Sadly we knew they weren't gonna be a permanent group, but they ended up not releasing music after this song. Sohee and Chaekyung re-debuted in another project group I.B.I. Then Sohee debuted solo and was later added to the group Nature. Chaekyung was added to the group April who disbanded last month.
