On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Only You by 24K
24K were another one of those boy groups that were SO CLOSE but so far away. They had an international following, but were relatively unknown in Korea. Usually I don't like these kinds of beatdrop tropical house EDM songs, but this song is REALLY good. 24K always had really good music.
24K is technically still alive, but only one member from this comeback is still in the group. They have been SUPER messy with their lineups, even when they were kinda popular members were always coming and going. Kisu debuted solo last year and made a comeback last month. Corey debuted as the solo artist Corbynn and has been consistently releasing music. Jeonguk also debuted solo and had a comeback last month. Hui competed on Idol Producer, a Chinese survival show, but did not debut. Sadly my bias, Jinhong, hasn't been up to much. He could have been an It Boy like Eunwoo if their company promoted them right. 24K's latest comeback was about a year ago. But with so many different people and a different sound, it's hardly the same group.
